It is a rigid PVC drywall corner trim used to finish and protect outside drywall corners. Installers usually attach it with staples and spray adhesive, then apply joint compound over it.
What It Is
Corner Bead is a 90° rigid plastic corner bead designed to create straight, durable drywall corners while preventing rust or dents that can happen with metal beads.
It has perforated flanges so drywall mud passes through and locks the bead into the wall surface.
